Our Staff
Cat Meunier is the owner and director of Mana Physiotherapy. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2011 with her Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree with First Class Honours. After a brief period in the public health sector, she moved to Darwin and worked as a civilian contract Physiotherapist to the Australian Defence Force (Army).
Being surrounded by world class Physiotherapists and facilities, Cat commenced her career in a setting that encouraged and expected the highest level of care. This enthusiasm and drive for excellence has continued throughout the rest of her career in Occupational Physiotherapy and Private Practice.
Armed with a solid clinical foundation in various settings, her true passion lies in the treatment of Musculoskeletal conditions and Women’s Health.
Being the mother of two gorgeous young boys of her own, Cat Meunier has the practical and clinical experience to treat both ante- and post-natal conditions. With her extensive knowledge of the human body and intuitive treatment style, she is passionate about educating patients about their injuries so they have the power to prevent reoccurrence wherever possible.
Cat Meunier is a long-time lover of yoga and has recently completed her Yoga Teacher Training. She has also completed additional training in Dry Needling (Acupuncture), Sports Physiotherapy, Treatment of Spinal Pain Disorders, Persistent Pain and Shoulder Dysfunction.
Prior to her Physiotherapy degree, Cat Meunier graduated from UWA with a Bachelor of Science degree (Anatomy and Physiology) in 2001. In 2005 she became a remedial massage therapist working mainly with skiers, snowboarders and injuries associated with extreme winter sports. She loves her family, yoga, travel, camping and all the small things that make this world beautiful.
